Within the framework of what it was Madrid Gallery Weekend 2018, Elena Azzedin – AADK Spain curator and Residency Program Director- and gallerist Blanca Soto presented Spy holl exhibition by the Spanish artist Sergio Sotomayor. Showing that contemporary art creation centers are no longer limited to large cities, the residential program of AADK Spain has been developed for four years in the rural area of Blanca, Murcia (Spain). "At the present time it is necessary to think from the local to the global", explains Azzedin.

VAN EYCK RESIDENCE 2018
The Van Eyck Residence 2018 opened its call. Until October 1st, all those artists, photographers, designers, curators, writers and critics who wish to participate are invited to apply for the residency at the Van Eyck Academy.
2018 PALACIO PIEDRAS RESIDENCY
Palacio Piedras Residence (RPP) is a residence by invitation and without ends of work integrated into the annual program of exhibitions during the month of July. The residence proposes to rethink the exhibition space as it self. To do so, the organizers of the same invite an artist to occupy the gallery for a month, transforming the area of reflection and production. The residence is designed to go through any stage of the process in which the artist is: research, experimentation, production, introduction, blocking and even leisure.
