D+C FOUNDATION ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM
Since the D+C Foundation’s Residency Program started –in 2022–, mid-career artists such as Sandra Monterroso, Jeronimo Villa, Guillermo García Cruz, Youdhisthir Maharjan and Loris Cecchini participated. The 2024 selected residents will be announced soon.
NEW MUSEUM ANNOUNCES CAMILO GODOY AS 2023-2024 ARTTIST-IN-RESIDENCE
The New Museum announced Camilo Godoy as its 2023–24 Artist-in-Residence. The annual Artist Residency supports an artist or collective working at the intersections of performance, pedagogy, and participatory art to develop and present new work.
LONG TERM PROGRAM – THE PHOTOBOOK AT PENUMBRA FOUNDATION
The intensive program is designed to guide artists through every step of the process of making a book. The objective is to have a physical maquette or artist book ready to present to publishers or to self-publish upon completion of the course, as well as to establish a practice and community to support them going forward. THE COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION AT FONTE RESIDENCY
Melodia is a collective exhibition at Fonte residency featuring a compendium of distinctively composed artworks. Through a variety of processes, techniques, and multidimensional approaches, the exhibition poses the question: What if these diverse works formed a melody?

Fountainhead Arts has been awarded a Grants for Arts Projects award to support Fountainhead Residency, the only live/work residency program in Miami, FL. FOUNTAINHEAD ANNOUNCES $100,000 GIFT FOR A CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY RESIDENCY
Miami-based residency program Fountainhead announced a $100,000 donation in honor of Jane Wesman, an accomplished publicist, art collector and philanthropist who has long supported the organization and its mission. The donation secures funding for The Climate and Environmental Sustainability Residency, which will select three painters whose practice considers climate change as an important subject matter. The residency will launch in April 2022.
“POEMS BY TWO | BURNT LETTERS” AT FONTE ART RESIDENCY
Drawing from possibilities of artistic creation through affectations, the artists Marcelo Amorim and Nino Cais present a joint exhibition at FONTE, an independent art and residency space they founded in 2013. With curatorship by Ana Roman, "Poemas a Dois e Cartas Queimadas" (Poems by Two and Burnt Letters) investigates the male body and its relations of nearness and distance with violence and love.
