NEXT STANDS OUT AT PINTA PArC FOR ITS CREATIVE LANDSCAPE
Curated by Florencia Portocarrero, the NEXT section brings together seven galleries that are committed to visibilizing the work of young and/or emerging artists. The section seeks to function as a window, for the public of the fair, to the various cities of Latin America in which the gallery projects are registered; such as Buenos Aires, Cusco, Lima, Cholula, Rosario, Quito and Santiago.
PINTA PArC EXHIBITS RUNAWAY NARRATIVES – ONLY PROJECTS
The SOLO PROJECTS section exhibits six artists represented by their respective galleries. The section is intended as an opportunity to highlight the production of contemporary artists in such a way that visitors can relate to their work in a deeper and more personal way.
CONTEMPORARY TRADITION - TEXTILE ART AT PINTA PARC 2022
As a novelty, this year Pinta PArC presents a new space with a leading role marked by the textile art of Tiodoro Pacco. Institutionally and with the curatorship of Jerson Ramirez, the aim is to recover, highlight and celebrate the traditional techniques and artistic work of the region. The space is thus dedicated to the exploration of memory, the transmission of cultural valuesand the examination of the processes and formats that are interwoven in the Peruvian artistic identity.
PINTA PArC ANNOUNCES ITS 2022 EDITION WITH ENTHUSIASM AND AMBITION
The ninth edition of PArC, Perú Arte Contemporáneo, will take place between April 20th and 24th, 2022. Integrated into the Pinta universe, the most relevant international art fair in Peru is characterized by an experimental program and a selection of galleries with diverse and contemporary proposals. CONCLUSIONS FROM ARCOmadrid AND THE EUROPEAN REACTIVATION
ARCOmadrid, organized by IFEMA MADRID, closed its 40+1 Anniversary on Sunday with a commercial balance described by the participating galleries as very positive. The attractive presentation of galleries and artistic programs that have made up the contents of this edition have attracted a global figure of 75,000 visitors, among which were 30,000 art professionals.
SP–Arte ANNOUNCES ITS 18TH EDITION AT THE PAVILHÃO DA BIENAL
The fair takes place from April 6th to 10th at the Bienal Pavilion in Ibirapuera Park, reaffirming its leading role in the arts market and bringing together around 130 galleries, nine of which are international.

DAGOBERTO RODRÍGUEZ WINNER OF THE EFG LATIN AMERICAN ART AWARD
The Cuban artist was selected for the EFG International acquisition award for his work El Fin (The End) exhibited at PArC with the Piero Atchugarry Gallery. The announcement was made in Pinta Miami together with Diego Costa Peuser, Director of Pinta, Victor Echevarria of EFG Capital and Celia Birbragher, Director and Editor of ArtNexus.

PINTA CONCLUDES 2021 ON A HIGH NOTE AND WITH GREAT EXPECTATIONS
Pinta Miami reaches the end of 2021 and celebrates great sales and a successful blend format. Pinta Concept marked the 15th year for Pinta and, once again, brought together artists, galleries, curators, collectors and overall art lovers to showcase the best of Latin American art. Almost 300 artworks were exhibited, which represented 11 countries and both emerging and established talents.
PINTA SOLO PROJECTS - A NEW EMPHASIS

JOSÉ CAEROLS NOMINATED IN Ch.ACO FOR THE EFG LATIN AMERICAN ART AWARD
The EFG Latin America Art Award, in partnership with ArtNexus, announces José Caerols, from OMA Galeria, Santiago de Chile, as the nominated artist for its annual acquisition award. The list of selected artists is now finallyy complete, and the winner will be announced at Pinta Miami this week.

arteba 2021 - ACQUISITIONS, AWARDS AND CONCLUSIONS
The arteba Foundation turned 30 years old and celebrated it with a face-to-face fair at Arenas Studios, La Boca neighborhood. arteba 2021 created a space where artists, gallery owners, collectors, curators, cultural references and a massive public converged on the southern part of the City of Buenos Aires.
NOMINED ARTISTS TO THE EFG AWARD IN ARTBO AND SP-ARTE
The EFG Latin America Art Award, now in its eleventh edition, was created to support the Latin American artists. The award aims to promote the continent's visual arts production and regional fairs among collectors around the world. From the Colombian ARTBO fair, the nominated artist is Federico Ovalles, and from the Brazilian fair SP-Arte, Gustavo Nazareno was nominated for his work “Guiné”.
ZURICH JOINS BAphoto AGAIN, BRINGING THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY CLOSER TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC

LOCUS AND LANGUAGE OF BAphoto 2021 - ‘FUERA DE FOCO’ SECTION
Since 2015, Fuera de Foco (Out of Focus) is a solo projects section destined to the exploration of the different procedures, languages and materialities that the photographic medium makes possible. With the aim of providing visibility to new generations of artists, Fuera de Foco invites three Argentine galleries to present an individual proposal, of an installation and experimental nature, promoting a territory open to dialogue with other disciplines that can enrich and generate new experiences aesthetic.
BAphoto CELEBRATES A TRIBUTE IN LIFE TO LUCRECIA PLAT AND HOSTS A FANTASTIC ENCOUNTER
In this long-awaited edition, the outstanding photographer in Artista Homenaje is Lucrecia Plat from Argentina. Curated by Francisco Medail, the exhibition covers a large part of Plat's production in her forty years of work, among which the series of intimate portraits of Alejandra Pizarnik and the nocturnal records of the Buenos Aires elite stand out.
BAphoto IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL, VINTAGE AND CONTEMPORARY
For the first time in its history, the longest running Latin American photography fair that can be visited from October 13 to 17, combines its classic in-person edition with a special online program where national and international art coexist. Located at Casa Basavilbaso, the long-awaited reunion will be complemented by an online program that includes Live Talks, Open Files and guided tours.
