Dutch artist Rob Verf exhibits a series of works in dialogue with paintings from the National Museum of Fine Arts’ collection to explore the impacts of waste generation, consumption and discarding.

The eighteenth edition of BAphoto ended last Sunday, held for the second consecutive year at Casa Basavilbaso. With photography as the main protagonist, more than 8,200 artists, gallery owners, curators, collectors and art lovers gathered to explore, discover and pay tribute to latinamerican photographers.

One of Pinta BAphoto's already characteristic program is Fuera de Foco (Out of Focus). Curated by Bárbara Golubick, this section highlights emerging artists’ photography from different parts of the country. Pinta BAPhoto opens its 2022 edition with a tribute to the outstanding photographer Sara Facio. The exhibition is dedicated to her intimate life and proposes a shift in the photographer's camera: she leaves aside her work as a portraitist to look at herself. It is curated by Francisco Medail and with the collaboration of Rolf Art.

Exhibited at the Tomás Redrado gallery and entitled “Ese día” (THAT DAY), the show curated by Elio Kapszuk presents portraits taken by Argentine photographer Alejandra López. In them are survivors of the attack, including brief stories.

In his first exhibition since 2019, the photographer returns to deep Buenos Aires in search of reflections of our present through a documentary and poetic reading of the past.

The Centre Pompidou hosts for the first time the sculptures, collages, artist's books, drawings and assemblages by the artist León Ferrari (1920-2013), considered one of the most influential in Latin America.

Buenos Aires - The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes inaugurated the exhibition "Carmelo Arden Quin, in the plot of constructive art", which offers an overview of the Uruguayan master's production through a hundred works from different periods of his career, exhibited along with pieces by colleagues with whom he forged links and joined artists groups. Sicardi | Ayers | Bacino is pleased to announce Antológica, a retrospective exhibition for gallery artist Graciela Hasper (b. 1966, Argentina) at the Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes Franklin Rawson in San Juan, Argentina. 

Pupila is the ambitious individual exhibition that the Argentine artist Eduardo Basualdo (Buenos Aires, 1977) has developed especially for the Modern Museum in dialogue with its director Victoria Noorthoorn, with whom he has already collaborated in the past, and especially for the Pontevedra Biennials (2006) and Lyon (2011).

La Intermundial Holobiente is an inter/un-disciplinary group that attempts to invent imaginative practices based on modes of thought that are more than human —that is, not anthropo-centered. Its members are Claudia Fontes, visual artist represented by the gallery, philosopher Paula Fleisner and writer Pablo M. Ruiz.

The Hamburger Bahnhof is holding an exhibition entitled Under Construction, which will present the latest additions to the Nationalgalerie collection. The museum has been able to acquire these new objects over the past few years thanks in large part to funding from the Freunde der Nationalgalerie.

The retrospective exhibition Christo and Jeanne-Claude presents an exhaustive fundamental territory of concepts and images to appreciate the art of the second half of the twentieth century. The appropriation of public property, wrapping monuments and transforming the natural space with their interventions brings us closer to one of the most relevant trends in artistic practice.

In Maluf's exhibition project, the language of three-dimensional works is combined with the installation format. With this in mind, and the characteristic spatial layout of Gallery 5 of the Emilio Caraffa Museum with its great heights, the works participate from their immanence in a dialogue with the circumstance.
