Contour Editions presents a publication showcasing the collaboration between Gustavo Matamoros and Richard Garet titled Set1.20220723, performed live on July 23, 2022, at the Deering Estate. Born in Venezuela, Antonio Briceño is a photographer and biologist. His series Dioses de América. Panteón natural (Gods of America. Natural Pantheon) participates in the Special Project Amazonia of Pinta Miami 2023. On the artist's centenary, the Ascaso Art Gallery of Caracas will present, together with the Otero-Pardo Foundation, an exhibition entitled “Contemplaciones y Memorias” (Contemplations and Memories), which under the curatorship of Bélgica Rodríguez and the museography of Rafael Santana, brings together a selection of paintings and serigraphs made by the outstanding creator.

It is an individual exhibition by the Venezuelan artist Juan Carlos Portillo made up of a set of 23 works that unfold in the room as a journey towards memory, where the flight of birds and a translucent atmosphere on the canvas trace a network that introduces the viewer in an anachronic album, the artist's personal blog, according to the gallery representatives.

The works presented make use of and reference to the image as a channel, as a concept, as a medium. Migrating from one ontological level to another, Candeo highlights the way in which the contemporary world is built from immediate registers, multiple narratives, and memory models.
