Once again, the Paris-based gallery will showcase the work of Jorge Yázpik, whose sculptural forms—defined by their exploration of interior voids and spatial tension—engage with the essence of abstraction while remaining deeply rooted in Mexican materials and traditions.

Prats Nogueras Blanchard brings together works by Belkis Ayón, Chioma Ebinama, Susy Gómez, Nancy Spero, and Cecilia Vicuña in There is a Timbre of Voice, an exhibition that invites viewers to explore areas of connection between the sacred and the intimate. Rooted in a space that oscillates between the mystical and memory, the feminine gaze of these five artists opens up the possibility of imagining and redesigning another world from a critical perspective and through the vindication of resistance.

Década, Volumes I and II, fully capture the essence of El Apartamento gallery’s tenth anniversary celebration. This milestone is marked by two group exhibitions featuring works by artists represented at both its original location in Havana and its Madrid branch. The series began in Havana with Volume I and continued in Madrid with Volume II.

The exhibition Manuel Mendive: With the new day the sun shines and leads us at Latin Art Core gallery features the internationally acclaimed Cuban artist’s most recent series of works crated between 2023 and 2025, alongside a curated selection of key earlier pieces.

For her first solo exhibition in Italy, Lucia Pizzani presents a new site-specific installation conceived for the spaces of Galleria Doris Ghetta. The exhibition Trópico Pasado brings together recent sculptural and pictorial works, united by a deep engagement with the organic as visual language and by a sustained inquir into the relationships between bodies –vegetal, animal, human– and their shifting habitats.

Casado Santapau programs El fin, el mar (The End, The Sea), which is Diango Hernández’s (Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, 1970) fourth exhibition at the gallery, presents a new body of work that expands and evolves his artistic practice. The exhibition features several works using different techniques, all of which echo the sobriety of undulating lines. Within this theme, which forms the backbone of the exhibition, two acrylics on canvas are displayed alongside a group of pieces that emphasize the minimalism of the wave’s gesture.

Aiming to explore Natalia Castañeda’s (Manizales, Colombia, 1982) personal experience through her archival and emotional artistic practice, the Isabel Hurley Gallery in Málaga presents Piel de glaciar (Glacier Skin). In this exhibition, the Colombian artist displays her intimate body of work inspired by her relationship with the mountains—especially glaciers—and all their significance.

Leyla Cárdenas (Bogotá, Colombia, 1975) brings Posibles bifurcaciones (Possible Bifurcations) to Madrid's Max Estrella, a project consisting of various installations that revolve around the meanings and possibilities of the technique of unraveling. The concept for the exhibition originated during the artist's residency last year in Mallorca and her research into the origins of each of the islands that make up the Balearic archipelago.

Barcelona’s Bombon gallery and Lima’s CRISIS gallery have opened a collaborative exhibition space in Madrid. This new project will host alternating shows by artists represented by each gallery, while at certain times of the year, they will opt for joint proposals.

Mindy Solomon Gallery presents a collaborative exhibition with AppArt Paris to showcase the work of Eduardo Cardozo, the Uruguayan artist representing Uruguay at the 2025 Venice Biennale. Primero fue el gesto (First was the gesture) marks his first solo show in Miami, featuring seminal works produced between 2009 and 2024.

The Madrid-based gallery Ponce+Robles presents Ver por contacto (“Seeing by Contact”), an exhibition showcasing a selection of photograms from some of Roberto Huarcaya’s (Lima, Peru, 1959) most iconic series. Among them, particular emphasis is placed on works from Amazogramas (2014), a project carried out in the Peruvian Amazon, specifically in the Tambopata jungle. For this work, the photographer used large rolls of photosensitive paper to capture innovative images by making direct contact with the surrounding vegetation.

The gallery welcomes a key figure in Argentine and Latin American art since the 1960s. Her practice has unfolded between Buenos Aires, New York, and Paris, spanning painting, design, performance, and fashion, with a radical approach to the body, desire, and a bold, romantic vision of the female condition.

Casa Triângulo presents Joana Vasconcelos: Around the World, the Portuguese artist’s third solo exhibition at the gallery, featuring works –never before shown in Brazil– by one of the most influential voices in international contemporary art. 

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, ABRA gallery will inaugurate the exhibition Back on the Road by photographer Julio Iribarren in Warehouse 9 of the Los Galpones Art Center. The show brings together 26 photographs captured across Venezuelan territory between the mid-1970s and the early 1980s.

Through his show ThéâtrEErreuRDiego Bianchi (Buenos Aires, 1969) explores the dissection of a poetic form of the everyday, celebrating disorder, absurdity, and social entropy.

The Panamanian gallery presents Greetings from Panama, an exhibition by Ana Elena Garuz that explores the links between the personal and the systematic. The show opens on May 24, 2025.

Laura De Bernardi, Gergana Mantscheva, and Laura Sánchez Filomeno transform Espace Muraille into an artistic herbarium where nature and identity intertwine.

Formatocómodo presents Nervio Blando (Soft Nerve), an exhibition by Rafaela Salgueiro (Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil, 1991) and Theo Firmo (São Paulo, Brazil, 1983), where the duo showcases their most recent joint work for the first time in Spain. The two artists, from different backgrounds, have been collaborating since 2023, united by a shared interest in the human body as a contemporary subject of research and reflection.

ABRA gallery has inaugurated TO TAIMA OR NOT TO TAIMA, the first solo exhibition in Venezuela by artist María Elena Pombo. Conceived as an interpretation of an archaeological site, the show brings together sculptures, objects, and archival gestures that explore the Venezuelan diaspora through a sensitive and material lens.

Galería Elvira González in Madrid presents Gego. Line, Form and Space, an exhibition dedicated to the work of Gego (born Gertrud Goldschmidt, Hamburg, Germany, 1912 – Caracas, Venezuela, 1994), featuring 45 works on paper and four sculptures that reflect her exploration of space, line, and structure. The show brings together pieces from different periods of the artist’s career, spanning from the 1950s—when she began her artistic journey and discovered her fascination with the line—to the early 1990s.

Max Estrella in Madrid presents Getsemaní. Prensa de olivo (Getsemaní. Olive Press), the second solo exhibition by Miler Lagos (Bogotá, Colombia, 1973) at the gallery. The show features a series of engravings in which both the techniques used and the material supports become essential elements of the final result.

The Lima gallery presents NON (Nuevos Órganos Naturales), the exhibition by Oscar Santillán (Ecuador, 1980), which vindicates man's capacity to imagine new relationships with the world.

The exhibition Amo el hinojo (I Love Fennel) weaves together art, nature, and healing. Curated by Cristina Schiavi, it emerges from an artistic practice deeply rooted in the everyday life of the artist, far from the city and devoted to the cultivation of her garden.
