Valencian gallery Jorge Lopez is programming a solo exhibition by artist Claudia Joskowizc (Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, 1968) that brings together the audiovisual and performative techniques with which the Bolivian artist builds the narrative and chronology of her native country.

Exhibited for the first time since entering the collection of The Museum of Modern Art, Regina José Galindo’s Tierra (2013) explores connections between the exploitation of labor, resources, and human life in Guatemala.

The CA2M (Museum Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo) presents the exhibition Ana Gallardo. Tembló acá un delirio. (A delirium trembled here). Curated by Alfredo Aracil and Violeta Janeiro, the show runs from March 2 to July 7, 2024. 

White Shoes is Nona Faustine exhibition at Brooklyn Museum, where the artist, using her own body, interrogates the question “What does a Black person look like today in those places where Africans were once sold, a century and a half ago?” using her body.

Judy Chicago: Herstory brings together six decades of the artist’s work. Hosted by The New Museum in New York, the show includes an exhibition-whithin-the-exhibition spotlighting women essential to the history of art and Chicago’s own practice.

León Ferrari. Recurrencias (León Ferrari. Recurrences) is the first solo exhibition that the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes dedicates to the Argentinean artist.

At the Museo de Bellas Artes, images by artist Alicia D'Amico are displayed in Podría ser yo (It could be me), that wereincluded in the historic essay by Elizabeth Jelin and Pablo Vila, published in 1987, on daily life in working-class neighborhoods.

This is one of the unique moments of the most recent contemporary art in Brazil. The final tracking shot of Olho da Rua, a video by Jonathas de Andrade now on display at Inhotim, one of Brazil's leading visual arts centers, is one of those happy moments in which the artist manages to capture with such precision the zeitgeist of his country (in this case, on a continental scale).

Americas Society presents TROPICAL IS POLITICAL: CARIBBEAN ART UNDER DE VISITOR ECONOMY REGIME. The exhibition explores the ideas of natural and fiscal paradise, and the geographical coincidence of these concepts within the Caribbean region.

Framer Framed in Amsterdam exhibits The Silence of Tired Tongues. Curated by Raphael Fonseca, the show presents the works of thirteen emerging artists born in Brazil. The artworks in the group exhibition bring together a sense of ‘saudade’, which can be translated as a mixture of melancholy and longing.

On its 25th anniversary, Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin shows important works from the Nationalgalerie Collection and the Haubrok Collection. A spacious architectural design was developed in the museum’s Historical Hall especially for the occasion. Highlighted among the works are those by Alfredo Jaar and Ruben Ochoa.
