PINAMAR CONTEMPORARY AWARD #2254 OPENS ITS CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
This edition offers artists the opportunity to imagine, experiment with, and materialize a large-scale work with a strong territorial presence. Application deadline: March 31, 2026.
Fundación arteba and Pinamar S.A. announced the second edition of the Pinamar Contemporary Award #2254, a competition that continues to establish itself as a platform to foster creation, encourage dialogue between art and nature, and support the production of works conceived for the public space. Applicants may submit their proposals until March 31, 2026.
“The continuity of this award reaffirms our commitment to the production of works for the public space and to the sustained support of artists throughout long-term processes,” said Larisa Andreani, President of Fundación arteba, at the launch of this new edition.
“For Pinamar S.A., supporting this award together with arteba is a concrete way of investing in culture as a strategic value for the development and identity of the place,” added Enrique Shaw, President of Pinamar S.A.
The jury—composed of Martín Bodas (architect and urban planner), Adriana Bustos (artist), Andrés Duprat (curator), Luciana Lamothe (artist), and Enrique Shaw (President of Pinamar S.A.)—will be responsible for selecting five finalist projects, each of which will receive the equivalent in Argentine pesos of USD 1,000 (one thousand US dollars). Curator Solana Molina Viamonte and the team appointed by Fundación arteba will accompany the development of the projects.
At the end of this stage, a single winning project will be selected and awarded a sum in Argentine pesos equivalent to USD 15,000 (fifteen thousand US dollars). In addition, Pinamar S.A. will cover the full production costs of the winning project, whose inauguration is scheduled for the summer of 2027.
