ONASSIS AIR ANNOUNCES 30 RESIDENCY OPPORTUNITIES IN ATHENS
The international program offers 10-week residencies with financial support, mentoring, and access to the Onassis cultural ecosystem. Deadline: March 3, 2026.
Onassis AiR has launched its 2026/27 Open Call, offering 30 residency opportunities in Athens, Greece, for artists, researchers, and practitioners across disciplines. Applications close on March 3, 2026. Centered on process, research, and experimentation, the program encourages participants to deepen their practice without the pressure of delivering a final work.
Over six years, the initiative has supported nearly 250 Fellows worldwide and received almost 2,300 applications in its most recent call, underscoring its expanding international reach. The 10-week residencies, running between September 2026 and July 2027, are open to visual arts, theater, dance, sound, filmmaking, writing, curatorial and applied arts practices, advanced technologies, and hybrid formats.
Selected Fellows receive an artist fee, research/production budget, housing, travel, mentoring, technical access, and participation in collective activities and public Open Days focused on creative process. Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the official Onassis website, where full guidelines and the application form are available.
