NARS CURATORIAL FELLOWSHIP: OPEN CALL FOR 2026
The program offers six months of collaboration with different artists and the opportunity to develop two exhibitions within the International Residency Program. Application deadline: March 2.
NARS Foundation has opened applications for its 2026 Curatorial Fellowship, a program aimed at emerging curators interested in expanding their practice through direct engagement with international artists.
Over the course of six months, the selected fellow will work closely with artists-in-residence and the NARS team to develop an exhibition with each of the two cohorts of the International Residency Program. Each residency season lasts three months, and the exhibition conceived by the fellow will be presented during the final month of each cycle.
The fellowship includes individual studio visits with each resident artist and the development of a cohesive curatorial framework for a group exhibition featuring works by all artists in the cohort. The fellow is expected to be present in the studio space and NARS office at least two days per week and to write a press release for each exhibition.
Designed as a professional development opportunity, the fellowship seeks to strengthen the institution’s residency program while fostering new perspectives and exchanges across diverse practices, disciplines, and cultural contexts.
