A new international open call is now available for artists from Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as related diasporic communities in the United States. The program is organized by Delfina Foundation in partnership with El Espacio 23 / Jorge M. Pérez Collection, offering fully funded residencies in London.

Supported by Jorge M. Pérez and Darlene Pérez, this is the first time a residency backed by the Pérez Collection takes place outside Miami. Over the next two years, four twelve-week residencies will be hosted at Delfina Foundation, focusing on artists from contexts with less representation in recent programs.

This first open call will select two artists: one for autumn 2026 (September 21–December 13) and one for winter 2027 (January 5–March 25). The application deadline is April 6, 2026 (23:59 GMT), and results will be announced on June 1 following online interviews in mid-May. A second call will open later to complete the cycle.

To broaden its scope, this round excludes artists based in countries recently represented—such as Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, and Argentina—while remaining open to Latin American and Caribbean artists living in the United States.

Based in Miami, El Espacio 23 develops a residency model focused on long-term support. This partnership brings that approach into an international context, creating new opportunities for exchange and visibility.
