ARTE LAGUNA PRIZE: 120 FINALISTS PRESENTED IN VENICE
Artists from multiple disciplines are invited to participate in the international competition. The deadline is June 30, 2026.
The Arte Laguna Prize is an International Contemporary Art Competition based in Venice, open to artists of all ages, nationalities, and artistic backgrounds. It offers numerous opportunities for participants to expand their networks, gain global visibility, and access valuable resources to advance their artistic careers.
The 21st edition celebrates innovation and connections within the contemporary art world, offering artists the opportunity to exhibit at the Arsenale Nord in Venice from November 6 to 29, 2026; receive a €10,000 cash prize; join an extensive global network of collaborations through numerous special awards; gain free international visibility; and sell their work on the online platform artelaguna.world.

The competition is open to the following artistic disciplines: painting, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art and short films, performance and acting (theatrical and cinematic), digital art, digital graphics and cartoons, land art, urban art and street art, and art design.
Participants will also have access to various opportunities developed in collaboration with leading international partners, including art residencies in different parts of the world—such as Residencia de Arte MoCA (Venice, Italy), BigCi (Bilpin, Australia), NY20+ (Chengdu, China), and The Swatch Art Peace Hotel (Shanghai, China)—as well as art business initiatives in partnership with Gruppo FOMAS (Lecco, Italy) and Gabe Tenute (Treviso, Italy). Additionally, collaborations with galleries such as Gallery Studio 76 (Bucharest, Romania) and programs focused on sustainability and solidarity in partnership with Universidad Ricardo Palma (Lima, Peru) are included.

The jury for the 21st edition includes Yuko Hasegawa (Japan), Hélio Menezes (Brazil), and Gianluigi Ricuperati (Italy). Additional jurors will be announced soon.
