BONAVENTURE SOH BEJENG NDIKUNG WILL BE THE CHIEF CURATOR OF THE 36TH SÃO PAULO BIENNALE
The Fundação Biennale de São Paulo announced that Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung will be the chief curator of the 36th São Paulo Biennale, to be held during the second half of 2025.

Maria brings deep expertise in Latin American and Contemporary Art as well as strong professional relationships throughout the Americas to the position.
CATALINA LOZANO APPOINTED CHIEF CURATOR OF THE ARTIUM MUSEOA
In this position within The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Basque Country, Lozano will work closely with the Collection Department and the Museum's director.
LESLEY LOKKO APPOINTED CURATOR OF THE VENICE ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE 2023
The Board of the Venice Biennale, upon the recommendation of President Roberto Cicutto, appointed Lesley Lokko as Director of the Architecture Sector, with the specific task of curating the 18th International Architecture Exhibition to be held in 2023. The Exhibition will be held from Saturday, May 20 to Sunday, November 26, 2023.
SHARON LERNER APPOINTED NEW DIRECTOR AT THE MUSEUM OF ART LIMA
The Museo de Arte de Lima -MALI, announces that its most recent General Assembly of Associates appointed Sharon Lerner as the Museum’s new Director. This appointment occurs within the framework of the reopening of the museum and the exhibition rooms of its collection, after two years of being closed to the public.
DAVID E. LITTLE APPOINTED AS NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER OF PHOTOGRAPHY
The Board of Trustees of the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York announced today the selection of David E. Little as its new executive director, following an international search. Little will join ICP in mid-September 2021, after six years as director and chief curator of the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College, and will succeed Mark Lubell, who announced his decision to depart ICP in March 2021.

The General Council of the MACBA Consortium has appointed her as the new director, valuing her contribution of “an innovative look at the role of the museum on the local and international scene, also incorporating a clear desire to connect with contemporary debates on the role of art in this beginning of the century, without avoiding a clear commitment to the social problems that surround cultural institutions”.

NEW APPOINTMENTS FOR MARCELA GUERRERO AND RUJEKO HOCKLEY AT THE WHITNEY MUSEUM
The Whitney Museum of American Art at New York announces that assistant curators Marcela Guerrero and Rujeko Hockley have been promoted to newly endowed positions. Guerrero has been appointed the Jennifer Rubio Associate Curator and Rujeko Hockley will assume the role of Arnhold Associate Curator, both effective July 1.
MALBA ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF MARÍA AMALIA GARCÍA AS CURATOR IN CHIEF OF THE MUSEUM
The future Chief Curator of MALBA highlights: "After two decades of prestigious work, Malba consolidates a central trajectory for the local scene and of reference at a regional and international level." María Amalia García explains, and adds: “Maintaining a Latin American perspective around artistic processes entails the commitment to recognize and value the specificities of each region and abandon the pigeonholes in foreign categories. (…) I understand that the reinvention that museums face today has to integrate and promote plural and diverse knowledge and perceptively enable dissident modes”.
