Crystallization of Chaos is the title of the exhibition in which Trini Energici (Santiago, Chile, 1982) presents her material research at Museo La Neomudéjar. This solo exhibition provides access to the artist's exploration of the transformation of materials and the way in which she approaches it metaphorically to address themes such as memory, territory, and change.

To this end, she presents a central articulation of the body of her work through the use of resins, pigments, metals, and industrial waste to construct and conceive pieces that occupy an intermediate plane between painting and sculpture. At this point, the space in which texture and volume become the protagonists, together with the abandonment of strict two-dimensionality, becomes essential for reflecting on the capacity of matter to register time, tension, and social and personal processes and contexts.

Thus, the works on display highlight the different processes of accumulation, wear, and transformation to which the materials are subjected and through which they become, in an almost organic way, instruments for archiving experiences and meanings. Likewise, in keeping with the Chilean artist's usual line of work, the exhibition incorporates a feminist reading through its vindication of the use of materials associated with the industrial sphere, thereby questioning the traditional hierarchies of art and proposing an expansion of the expressive capacities of contemporary practice.

Trini Energici: Crystallization of Chaos can be seen until 6 September 2026 at Museo La Neomudéjar, Antonio Nebrija s/n, Madrid (Spain).
