CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean – and Pinta Foundation have announced a strategic alliance aimed at strengthening the Latin American art ecosystem and fostering spaces for dialogue, professional exchange, and international visibility for artists, artisans, designers, and creators from Latin America and the Caribbean, serving as a platform for regional cultural recognition and integration. This initiative is part of the Regional Cultural Programming, Circulation, and Visibility Program, led by CAF’s General Secretariat and its Culture and Sports coordination.

As part of this collaboration, CAF will act as a strategic partner for several initiatives led by Pinta, including Pinta Panamá Art Week, whose second edition will take place from March 18 to 22 in Panama City. Over the course of five days, the event will bring together artists, curators, collectors, and cultural managers through a program of exhibitions, tours, talks, and cultural experiences across various venues in the city. The main exhibition will be held at Ciudad de las Artes.

“This alliance with Pinta Foundation reflects CAF’s commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen cultural ecosystems from a regional perspective. Pinta’s initiatives are key spaces for professional exchange and network-building, helping to enhance the visibility and sustainability of Latin American art,” said Alejandra Claros Borda, CAF’s Secretary General.

For his part, Diego Costa Peuser, Global Director of Pinta, emphasized that “this alliance with CAF confirms that culture is a strategic axis of development and a key space for regional dialogue.”

Beyond financial support, the collaboration also includes engagement in cultural platforms and dialogue spaces addressing the role of art in development, cultural diplomacy, and the strengthening of creative industries. In 2026, Pinta’s network of events will include gatherings in cities such as Panama City, Lima, Medellín, Santo Domingo, and Miami:
