On Thursday 27^th at Leandro Alem Avenue 928 (Buenos Aires, Argentina), the plastic artist Juan Becú transforms Bruchou Law Firm into an art gallery. After a first edition with works by Vicente Grondona, the Bruchou Art Department bets again on national art.

On Wednesday, September 26, the National Museum of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires (Argentina) inaugurates a J. M. W. Turner solo show. With an unprecedented exhibition in the country, 85 watercolors of the English painter will be exhibited until February 17^th.

On October 11, with a preview, The Ringling State Art Museum of Florida presents an individual exhibition of the Cuban-American artist and writer Coco Fusco. From September 25^th at the New Museum in New York, Sarah Lucas: Au Naturel, great retrospective of the controversial and diverse work of the British artist Sarah Lucas will take place. Recognized from her participation in the Young British Artists (YBA's), Lucas is one of the pioneers and referents of the ready-made, mainly addressing gender and cultural identity issues.

At El Tranque Cultural Center (Chile), since August 31, an individual exhibition is held in honor of Roser Bru, the Catalan artist recognized in 2016 with the National Prize of Plastic Arts. Vínculos y complicidades (Links and complicities), carried out in the neighborhood of Lo Barnechea has the curatorship of Beatriz Huidobro Hott.

On September 14^th at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation (Washington), two exhibitions inaugurate at the same time: Ruth Asawa's Life's Work, and Lola Álvarez Bravo's Picturing Mexico.

From damages -ecological, social, human, etc.- generated by the mass consumption system that currently prevails, Patricia Camet exhibits in PONCE + ROBLES a unique work. Composed of plastic waste, Emoticons x M2, the work of the Peruvian artist consists of more than 1300 objects grouped into small "communities" that evoke symbols.

In the Portuguese architectural space Casa da Arquitectura, Infinito Vão will open on September 28: a collective exhibition that covers ninety years of Brazilian architecture. Curated by Fernando Serapião and Guilherme Wisnik, the exhibition will be accompanied by a program of bilateral activities (Brazil and Portugal) curated by Nuno Sampaio, executive director of Casa da Arquitectura.

In the new contemporary art space The Intuitive Machine -art gallery located in Santiago, Chile-, Giróvago, by Vicente Matte. Constituted by a series of paintings, the exhibition that inaugurated the new Chilean gallery will remain until September 14.

Within the framework of BAphoto fourteenth edition that inaugurates on Thursday, Larivière Foundation will hold an award for photobook projects for Latin American artists.

September 2 marked a tragic day for the Brazilian and world cultural heritage: the National Museum of Brazil, located in the center of  Rio de Janeiro was devoured by flames. According to the statement of officials and members of the museum, this was a foreseeable tragedy given the budget cuts that the museum had been suffering for years.

Until September 28 at Crisis Galería, Marisabel Arias presents Karaoke Autoortográfico F.S.L. (First Spanish Lesson), an individual exhibition of the Peruvian artist. Under the curatorship of Giselle Girón, the work that Arias presents at Lima’s Gallery is the product of a six months exhaustive work that the artist did in a fictitious Spanish language learning company.

In the year 2000, a photograph of Cesar Herrera illustrated the sad news of three men deceased by the armed conflict in Colombia. That day, the artist Beatriz González cut out that image and deposited it with many others previously published in the newspapers. It is from these photographs that in 2009, the Colombian artist would intervene the popular columbarium of the Bogotá cemetery to carry out her work Auras Anónimas (Anonymous Auras).

The Art Sonje Center of Korea presents Francis Alÿs work The Logbook of Gibraltar, the first individual exhibition of the artist in this country. The Belgian artist who lives in Mexico since the 80s inaugurates the exhibition this afternoon.

The University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum (USFCAM) announced the incorporation of Christian Viveros-Fauné as Curator-at-Large. According to the USFCAM statement, Viveros-Fauné took office on August 7^th. In addition, he will be in charge of the Kennedy Family Visiting Scholar of the USF School of Art and Art History during the 2018-2019 periods.

Dedicated to photography origins, the Wunderkrammer space aims to highlight the different materialities, technological processes and social uses of the medium assuming the challenge of stimulating a new type of collection in emergency.

In the middle of Museo del Barrio’s (MB) renovation and professionalization of Las Galerías (Galleries) and El Teatro (Heckscher Theater) carried out since November of the past year, this institution delegated the general direction to Patrick Charpenel. In May 2019, the capital city of Norway, Oslo, will hold the first edition of the Oslo Biennial. Curated by Eva González-Sancho and Per Gunnar Eeg-Tverbakk, sui generis biennial is the product of a research project carried out by the curators themselves: OSLO PILOT.

The New York art gallery Alexander Gray Associates announced that starting tomorrow at the Contemporary Arts Museaum Houston, in Texas, Luis Camnitzer and Coco Fusco will participate at Walls Turned Sideways, a collective exhibition that critices criminal justice system, mass incarceration and the industrial penitentiary complex.
