Notes related to Residency

Fundación Ama Amoedo announced the selection for the FAARA Residency 2025 at its emblematic Casa Neptuna in José Ignacio, Uruguay.

The birth of a new collective is always good news, and it is so for several reasons. Firstly, because of the existence of collective dynamics that bring together different points of view and, second, because, in a didactic way, it contributes to illustrate and understand the current cartographies of art. For the Revolú collective, formed by Andrés Meléndez (San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1996), Miguel Ángel Feba (San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1994) and Marcos Daniel Vicéns (Bayamón, Puerto Rico, 1996), their first exhibition experience is the result of an artistic residency in which, almost blindly, they have been able to build those specific ties to start from the individual and reach the group identity.

The Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano (ICPNA) and Artus are joining forces to launch the call for the Wiels Artist-in-Residence Program, an international multidisciplinary production platform that hosts emerging and mid-career contemporary artists from around the world. Deadline to apply: March 22, 2024.

Art Explora Foundation, the international foundation that fosters new encounters between arts and audiences, locally, nationally and internationally, is pleased to announce that the call for applications for the Art Explora—Cité internationale des Arts Residency Programme 2024 is now open.  Application deadline: November 7th, 2023.

The three selected artists chosen for the Artpace San Antonio Spring 2023 International Artist-in-residence program are Yuliya Lanina, Reynier Leyva Novo and Nohemí Pérez.

Penumbra Foundation provides the opportunity for artists to propose a photographic project to produce in print form in their Risograph facilities in New York City. Deadline to apply: February 15^th, 2023.

The Ama Amoedo Foundation has announced the artists selected for its 2023 residency. The jury was formed by Miguel A. López, Solana Chehtman and Tobías Ostrander.

D+C Family Foundation created a special space for artists who wish to get to know the vibrant scene of the visual arts in Miami. Their house-studio invites artists for periods between 6 to 12 weeks. Application process opens four times a year exclusively for visual artists.
