SOUTHERN CONE ARTISTS: LAST DAYS TO APPLY FOR STUDIO VOLTAIRE’S RESIDENCY
The London space offers a fully funded twelve-week residency for emerging or mid-career artists from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. The deadline is July 16.
Studio Voltaire has an open call for a residency aimed at visual artists based in the Southern Cone — Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay — with applications closing on Thursday, July 16, 2026. The residency runs from September 17 to December 10, 2026, at Studio Voltaire, London, United Kingdom. It is open to emerging or mid-career artists with at least three years of professional practice after completing their education, who are not currently enrolled in a BA or MA programme. Applicants must provide a professional record of solo or group exhibitions, public projects, residencies, or publications.
The residency is fully funded and includes 24-hour access to a private live/work studio within a community of 55 artists, a stipend of £300 per week for living expenses, a budget for materials, research, and production, and funds for public events and access needs. All travel and visa costs are covered, including support for the visa application process. Outcomes of the residency will be shared through open studios and public programme events developed collaboratively with Studio Voltaire's curatorial team. The opportunity is generously supported by the Erica Roberts Art Foundation.
Interested candidates should submit their applications in English to studiosandresidencies@studiovoltaire.org. More details can be found on the website.
