FUNDACIÓN AMA AMOEDO AND ISCP OPEN CALL FOR ARGENTINE ARTISTS TO PARTICIPATE IN A NEW YORK RESIDENCY
The foundation will award one spot for Argentine visual artists to take part in a two-month residency at the International Studio & Curatorial Program in New York, running October through November 2026. The application deadline is June 28, 2026.
Fundación Ama Amoedo, in partnership with the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in New York, has opened a call for Argentine visual artists to participate in a two-month residency in New York City. The residency will take place in October and November 2026 as part of FAARA CONECTA, the foundation's initiative to support the participation of Latin American artists in international residency programs.
The residency includes round-trip airfare, travel insurance, accommodation in New York, and a monthly stipend to cover personal and professional expenses. Residents will have access to a furnished individual studio available around the clock, as well as ISCP's shared spaces. The program also offers monthly visits to cultural institutions in New York and abroad, studio visits with New York-based art professionals, opportunities to present work-in-progress within the ISCP Artists at Work series, and the chance to join a community of over 35 residents from around the world.
Applicants must be Argentine nationals—residing in Argentina or abroad—working in the field of visual arts, with strong English language proficiency and a valid U.S. visa at the time of the residency.
To apply, candidates must complete the application form and submit it via email; both are available on the foundation’s official website, along with the terms and conditions. The application deadline is Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (ARG).
