The Union of Feminists Engendering New Systems (UNFES) presents We Are Seas, Rivers, Flowers, Minerals, Volcanoes, Mountains, and Compost in all spaces of the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design (MADC) in San José, Costa Rica. The exhibition features more than 40 works created in Central America by feminist artists from the collective, allied collectives, and the MADC collection.

Disobedience Archive is a video archive project in constant transformation, linking artistic practices and political action. At the Venice Biennale exhibition, it takes the form of The Zoentrope, a pre-cinematographic machine that gives life to a space that generates new perspectives.

AWARE: Archives of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions announced a residency at the Villa Vassilieff in Paris for research on women and non-binary photographers and video artists. During this three-month residency, the selected candidate will be invited to present their research during a public event as well as to write a research article for publication on the AWARE website. The residency includes an independent studio apartment within the Villa Vassilieff, a monthly living allowance, and transportation to and from Paris.

Liliana Porter: The Task is the artist’s exhibition at Dia Bridgehampton. The exhibition comprises a new commission alongside a selection of works from the 1970s and video documentation of a recent play by Porter and collaborator Ana Tiscornia.

The Center for Art, Research and Alliance’s spring 2024 exhibition presents an intergenerational, feminist dialogue between artists Paloma Contreras Lomas (b. Mexico, 1991) and Ines Doujak (b. Austria, 1959). The show opens March 2 and will remain on view through May 12, 2024.

Judy Chicago: Herstory brings together six decades of the artist’s work. Hosted by The New Museum in New York, the show includes an exhibition-whithin-the-exhibition spotlighting women essential to the history of art and Chicago’s own practice.
