OPEN CALL FOR ARTIST RESIDENCY PROGRAM AT CASA ALBERTO HEREDIA
The Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires invites artists and art professionals from Argentina and abroad who have been living in the country for 3 years or more to apply to the Casa Alberto Heredia Residency Program. Applications will be accepted until June 30, 2024 for the periods August-December 2024 and March-June 2025.
ALEJANDRA SEEBER: INTERIOR WITH LANDSCAPES
Art at Americas Society is presenting Interior with Landscapes, the first solo exhibition and mid-career survey of the Argentine artist Alejandra Seeber in New York. Many of Seeber's paintings explore the tension between representation and abstraction.

Rosana Paulino. Amefricana is the most complete exhibition outside Brazil of this artist born in Sao Paulo in 1967. The exhibition at Malba brings together a group of works made during 30 years, between 1994 and 2024, from the perspective that the Atlantic inscribes in the Afro-descendant America.
LA CHOLA POBLETE EXHIBITS VIRGINS, COLONIALISM AND EROTICA IN GUAYMALLÉN
La Chola Poblete, Argentine artist and LGBTQ+ rights activist, draws confrontation between historical stereotypes and contemporary visual languages. Her colourful works in diverse media disrupt prevailing power structures and celebrate the rich culture of South American Indigenous peoples. Titled after her hometown, Guaymallén is La Chola’s solo exhibition at PalaisPopulaire, curated by Britta Färber, head of Deutsche Bank’s international art and culture program.

ARGENTINE GALLERIES AWARDED AT ARCOmadrid
ARCOmadrid is being held until Sunday, March 10, and presented its Lexus Award for Best Stand to the Argentinean gallery W-Gallery. In addition, the galleries Remota and Piedras won the X Opening Award, which recognizes the best stand in that section.
