PINTA BAphoto: A VIBRANT 2023 EDITION

The fair was curated by Irene Gelfman, Bárbara Golubicki, Francisco Medail, Vero Santalla, María A. Iovino Moscarella and Estefanía Papescu. Rosario Villani and Vanesa Castellani were the guides of the fair's Guided Tours circuit.

This great 2023 edition had the usual sections: Main Section, Fuera de Foco, Artist Tribute, Wunderkammer and Video Project; but presented new galleries, spaces and proposals to explore other facets and expressions of photography, such as Simetría Doméstica, a publishing house of artists' books and the Special Project by Adriana Lestido (Rolf Art Gallery) and Andrés Ramírez Gavira (Vermelho Gallery).

In addition, a great milestone of the fair was the Auditorium 2023 series, with talks, interviews and presentations of artists' books, summoning important references of photography in Latin America. These meetings established a journey between the history and the future of photography, with dialogues on artificial intelligence, collecting and the visual memory of the country. A tribute to Boleslaw Senderowicz was presented and books by various photographers were shared with the public.

As every year, the Open Files section, coordinated by Veronica Santalla, was part of the fair's program, with the aim of disseminating the work and vision of Latin American artists.
