The Cultural Association MoCA announces the 20th edition of the Arte Laguna Prize, an international award dedicated to promoting and enhancing contemporary art. Endorsed by the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Venice, Ca’ Foscari University, and other institutions, the competition offers artists and designers from around the world the opportunity to showcase their work at the Arsenale Nord in Venice from November 14 to December 6, 2026.

Open to all disciplines and nationalities, with no age limit, the Prize accepts works in painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video art, performance, digital art, design, land art, urban art, and more. The theme is open, and entries may include previously exhibited works, with priority given to recent creations.

The Overall Winner, selected by an international jury, will receive €10,000, three weeks of exhibition in Venice, and online visibility through their website. Finalists will also access a wide range of opportunities, including residencies in Italy, Germany, Australia, and China; exhibitions in Barcelona, Zurich, Dubai, and Brazil; collaborations with companies such as Cantina Ghisolana and Ventana; and sustainability and solidarity awards, including a €3,000 prize from CiAl for works that valorize aluminum.

The jury is composed of leading figures from the international art scene, with experience in institutions such as the Serpentine Gallery (London), the National Gallery of Prague, and the Biennale of Women in Art. The deadline for applications is September 10, 2025, via the Arte Laguna World portal. Works can be uploaded until that date, and winners will be announced at the opening of the Venice exhibition.

The Arte Laguna Prize remains a global platform for artists, offering not only awards but also valuable connections, international exposure, and the experience of being part of Venice’s vibrant cultural scene.
