APA 2026 CALL FOR INTERNSHIPS, RESEARCH RESIDENCY, ARCHIVE TEXTS AND PERFORMANCE ACTIONS
Argentina Performance Art announced its 2025/2026 Open Call with four strands: professional internships; a research-and-writing residency; submissions for the Active Archive; and Acciones APA for performance proposals. Deadline: November 30, 2025.
Argentina Performance Art (APA) has launched its 2025/2026 Open Call with multiple entry points for artists, researchers and professionals engaged with performance art in the region. The call comprises four strands, each with its own guidelines and application form available online.
The Professional Internship Program invites advanced students or graduates in graphic design, digital marketing or audiovisual/podcast to join APA’s team and contribute to its core areas, combining situated training with professional practice. The Research and Text Production Residency supports the development of critical writing on performance art in Argentina and Latin America. Accepted texts will be incorporated into APA’s online archive, reinforcing a plural and situated memory of the field.
The Active Archive Open Call accepts essays, interviews and reviews on works, scenes or processes related to performance practices. Selected texts will be integrated into the public archive. Finally, Acciones APA invites artists and collectives to submit performances, video-performances, photo-performances or related formats that engage with the archive and/or specific territories. Selected works will form part of the 2026 program.
With over six years of sustained activity, APA continues to build infrastructure for research, visibility and circulation of performance practices. Applications will be accepted until November 30, 2025, through the application form.
