THE LATIN AMERICAN IMAGINARIUM IN PINTA MIAMI 2023

MIAMI

Until December 10, 2023, the 17th edition of Pinta Miami will be held at The Hangar in Coconut Grove. Artists, gallerists, collectors, art lovers and curators will gather to get to know the best of the work of Latin American creators.

THE LATIN AMERICAN IMAGINARIUM IN PINTA MIAMI 2023

The fair presents 46 international galleries representing artists from around the world in the different sections of the fair: Main Section, RADAR and NEXT. The Main Section presents a selection of proposals united by the "Latin American gene". The RADAR section –curated by Irene Gelfman, Pinta's global curator– seeks to highlight and delve into the production of contemporary artists. The NEXT section is curated by Giuliana Vidarte and focuses on emerging galleries and artists.

The fair will also feature several Special Projects: Amazonia (Curated by Felix Suazo); La Huella de Roma (Curated by Lincoln Fontanills); 40 years of uninterrupted democracy (Curated by Irene Gelfman); Raíces Mexicanas; Installations (Curated by Felix Suazo); and Amateur Gods.

This year, the fair features a series of lectures on collecting, book presentations and explores through dialogue various issues in vogue in contemporary art. All these actions are aimed to bring together curators, artists, collectors, gallery owners and professionals linked to the field of contemporary art, in order to expand the vision of artistic production, the art market and the role of collecting.

As is tradition in the Pinta fair circuit, this edition of Pinta Miami presents a selection of OPEN FILES, micro-videos where artists tell details about their works, most recent works and inspirations when creating.
