OPEN CALL: INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IN ARGENTINA PERFORMANCE ART
Argentina Performance Art, the first platform dedicated exclusively to the archive and theoretical research on Performance Art in Argentina, has opened a call for interns to join the team in the Internship Program 2024-2025.
The internships are virtual and are divided into two periods, for which a total of six interns will be selected -three for each period/group. Period 1 is from August to December 2024 and period 2 from March to July 2025. A computer and good internet connection are required to participate. Internships are unpaid.
Three interns will be selected for each period, each one will cover one of the following profiles: communication and digital marketing, for planning and assembling content for dissemination of the project for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, writing and assembling of newsletter; proofreading and editing of texts, which will deal with editing, reviewing and proofreading texts (research, essays, archive entries, communication texts) for web, social networks and newsletter; management and production, where they will provide assistance in writing applications to calls, communication with artists, press, cultural agents and institutions for the concentration of joint projects (exhibitions, conferences, meetings, etc).
Any person of Argentine nationality may apply, whether residing inside or outside the country. Foreigners living in Argentina can also apply.
The APA team will provide a friendly and supportive work space, and will make available to each intern its experience in the creation and management of projects, as well as in the generation of links and alliances with national and international cultural agents. The internship will facilitate the learning of writing and proofreading, production of artistic events, institutional communication, management of platforms (Trello, Wix, Mailchimp), grant applications, fundraising campaigns, among others. The development expectations of each intern within the project will be taken into account, according to their interests and the areas of APA that best suit them. Upon completion of the internship, each participant will receive a certificate of completion and participation and a letter of recommendation.
