LAST CALL: INTERNATIONAL RESIDENCY FOR ECUADORIAN ARTISTS
With the support of the foundation EACHEVE, the London-based Delfina Foundation is offering an open research residency taking place from June 25 to September 11, 2026. The application deadline is November 9, 2025.
Delfina Foundation invites artists living and working in Ecuador to apply for a 12-week residency in London (summer 2026 “open” season). In addition to dedicated time for individual work, the residency includes a professional development and institutional engagement program: public presentations, studio visits, meetings with curators, academics, and other artists, portfolio reviews, critique and mentoring sessions, informal gatherings with fellow residents, and guided visits to museums, galleries, and art spaces both within and outside the city.
Eligible applicants are artists who: reside and practice in Ecuador; work in the field of contemporary art; seek a period of research to develop their work and access international resources; can explain how the experience will benefit both their practice and local networks; and have sufficient proficiency in English to participate in the interview (which will be conducted in English, and applicants are expected to confidently present and discuss their work).

The program covers round-trip economy-class airfare, airport transfers in the UK, reimbursement of the visa fee (if applicable), a daily allowance of £40, a materials budget of £1,200, a local travel pass, and accommodation in a single bedroom at Delfina House (which hosts up to eight residents with shared facilities including kitchen, library, and laundry).
Applications are submitted through the online application form, with the deadline on November 9, 2025.
EACHEVE — founded by Eliana Hidalgo in 2014 as a publishing initiative and established as a non-profit foundation in 2021 — supports this edition with the mission of promoting Ecuadorian art internationally and creating opportunities for Ecuadorian artists.
