LAST DAYS: OPEN CALL “EN BLANCO” BY ESPACIO EL DORADO
Espacio El Dorado launched a new edition of En Blanco, an initiative with the intention of being the starting point for emerging ideas that want to be exhibited in a public space and that seek to dialogue with the contemporary creative context. Deadline to apply: February 25, 2024.
En Blanco is an extension of the Espacio El Dorado gallery designed for the exhibition of artistic projects from different areas of knowledge, ranging from the visual arts to the exact sciences. Four projects will be selected, where each winner will integrate one of the four exhibition cycles of the year.
How to apply?
In this form you must upload your proposal in a PDF document with the following specifications: Updated resume of no more than one page in length; profile of the participant or collective of no more than 100 words; presentation of the project of no more than one page in length; include a maximum of eight images, renders or sketches embedded in the document (each image may have a brief description of no more than thirty words); and the document must have a maximum size of 10MB.
In addition, two high quality images of the project must be uploaded in the application form (which will be used for dissemination purposes if selected).

Requirements
–Participation is open to those over 18 years of age.
–Only those individuals or groups that have never had a solo exhibition in any other space, contest or fair prior to the call can participate.
–The participating proposals may have participated in group exhibitions, so they do not have to be unpublished. In addition, they must be well advanced in their execution since they can be programmed in the first exhibition cycle of the current year.
–It is important that the winning projects do not have radical modifications, in relation to the proposal presented, at the time of their exhibition (only changes in the museography proposal are allowed, or the addition or subtraction of one or two pieces).
–The winners undertake to make a guided visit to the project and to propose an activities agenda, in addition to submitting photographic records, texts, technical sheets and other relevant information.
–Production, installation, assembly and transportation costs will be assumed in their entirety by the winners.
