Presented by PINTA MIAMI, one of the leading contemporary art fairs at Miami Art Week.
We are looking for Onsite Fair Assistants to help us in the organization before and during the fair. PINTA MIAMI 2018 will take place from December 5th till December 9th, with fair previews going on the 4th and 5th.
Onsite Fair Assistants are an important part of the organization and contribute to the effective execution of the Fair. They are the first contact for visitors and exhibiting artists.

You’ll Report To: Group Fair Director and Exhibitor Relations Manager
A typical day as an Onsite Fair Assistant might include:
- Gain practical knowledge & experience in Contemporary Art practices and learn how a successful fair operates
- Meet new people with common interests such as artists, curators, professionals, local and international visitors, members of the art community
- Have fun while pursuing an important project that makes art accessible to everyone in an exciting and optimistic environment
- Welcome, inform, and help exhibiting artists and visitors
- Check invitations and tickets
- Assist exhibitors during the stand installation
- Work handling (furniture, boxes, documents) and manage project areas
- Distribute fair guides and complimentary tickets
You’ll be successful if you love talking to people, want to support emerging artists, and are eager to help with a variety of tasks.
What You Have
- Able to commit to the duration of the fair (December 4-9, 2018) and assist onsite at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center.
- Ideally, we're looking for someone who can help us cover the following schedule during the fair dates:
- Tuesday, 12/4 (2pm - 7pm)
- Wednesday, 12/5 (12pm - 8pm)
- Thursday, 12/6 (12pm- 8pm)
- Friday, 12/7 (12pm-8pm)
- Saturday, 12/8 (12pm - 8pm)
- Sunday, 10/9 (2pm - 10pm)
- Excellent verbal communication skills with client-facing experience.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset. You are motivated to complete tasks on time and support the team’s goals.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
