Entitled Marco Maggi / Piano Piano, is the first solo exhibition in Venezuela Uruguayan artist, who is currently one of the most recognized and celebrated visual artists of Latin America. The exhibition consists of 20 works of small, medium and large formats, including monumental installations, wall and floor, consisting of hundreds of geometric parts two and three dimensional tiny made paper distributed randomly along surfaces walls and white columns of the room, one of 25 meters long and 4 meters high, and another composed of 50 elements made with monochrome yellow paper covering, as a "minefield" as he has defined conceptually Maggi, almost all of the floor area of ​​the exhibition hall of the gallery. The mural greets visitors at the Art Center The Sheds entitled Fronton is made with post-it notes on a surface of gunmetal color. This set of unpublished pieces show the different conceptual aspects that the artist has been developing in recent years in an incessant supported research provides a narrative and poetic vision of contemporary art, which has become an enigmatic unique visual alphabet.

Born in Montevideo in 1957, Marco Maggi, who lives and works in New Paltz, upstate New York, where he has developed his unique and distinctive work that has earned him wide recognition, projection and international visibility, and displayed in the permanent collections of major museums of modern and contemporary art.

The artist will come to Caracas especially personally install his exhibition, which will be of museum and institutional level. Marco Maggi / Piano Piano has enjoyed the valuable collaboration of the Embassy of Uruguay in Venezuela.
