FUNDACIÓN AUGUSTO Y LEÓN FERRARI ANNOUNCES THE CREATION OF A DATABASE
Since 2019, FALFAA has been working on the restructuring of its own database, originally designed by León and FALFAA in 2008, and which today has more than 5,000 works records.
The restructuring project arises from the desire to publish the rationale of the work with updated information and the history of each piece.
“We are working in collaboration with Fundación Espigas to project a new platform using free software. The goal is to include León's physical and digital archive, which contains documents, letters, sketches and artist's proofs, in addition to his complete library."
The final objective is to be able to make available for research by artists, critics, art historians, curators and the general public all the information about the work of León and Augusto Ferrari on a public, online and free platform.
Fundación Ferrari was created by León Ferrari and his family with the desire to preserve, disseminate, catalog and keep alive the work of the artist and his father, architect and painter.
