After her exhibitions at Museo Caraffa (Argentina), Dolores Caceres presents new parts that relate and discuss this exhibition.
Dolores Caceres will be exhibiting some pieces of her new job at arteBA. Represented by Maria Casado Home Gallery, the artist exhibits VACIO a sculpture that alludes to the idea of emptiness, but it is in turn a set matérico: matter / stone color / texture / smooth, cold.
VACIO is, as a whole, a group of sculptures of rectilinear shapes that refer to furniture assembly Museum and interrogating the contexts of production, circulation and consumption of the art industry, on the border with other practices such as advertising and design. The stone as material chosen for the whole refers and discusses the durability of the works of art and museums built with solid way to guard the space of the universe of art materials.
In line with his previous work, VACIO proposes to reflect on our way of seeing. Blanks cause discontinuity that attention needed to be maintained.
