ART BASEL POSTPONES ITS DATES FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER DUE TO COVID-19

As we are all acutely aware, COVID-19 has rapidly become a global crisis. Given the pandemic’s impact worldwide – from the rising global health concerns to the many restrictions necessary to slow its spread – the Art Basel Fair has decided to postpone the upcoming 2020 edition.
The 2020 Basel edition of Art Basel will now open to the public from September 17 to September 20.

Global Director, Marc Spiegler, and Head of Public Pelations, Michèle Sandoz stated the following: “Naturally, this is a dynamic situation that we will be closely following as it develops over the next few months, but we also believe that it is best to immediately focus on this new date in our efforts to deliver a successful fair”
