A DROP OF SWEAT FOR EVERY SIGH – EXHIBITION ON THE CONCEPT OF CONFLICT

The exhibition tries to build a map from different voices that shows how the artists build their universes and deal with conflict; The curator proposes axioms that invite the analysis of different hues and frictions within artistic professions. This exhibition is outlined by how and where these occur, and how obstacles present themselves in a defining and challenging way to women artists.

Other visible elements include the pressure women feel in the process of creating their works, how they manage to get out of those conjunctures and how they express - sometimes - that reality in an unpremeditated way

All of these conceptualizations have been the focus of my attention for over a year. It has been an arduous, daily and violent battle. This curatorial project is the product of a personal situation that has placed me in the award-winning position of the ‘victim’” reflects the curator.

The exhibited artists are: Rosa Cabrera, Carol Espíndola, Ailen Maleta, Lianet Martínez Pino, Paola Martínez Fiterre, Eliane Padron, Alicia Rodríguez Alvisa, Lara Ruiz, Aissa Santiso and Florencia De Titta.

Available as Online Viewing Room and Virtual Reality experience until May 26th.
