José Antonio Navarrete is an independent curator and researcher specializing in photography and visual culture in Latin America. He is the author of several landmark books and essays, has participated in international conferences, and has curated exhibitions across the Americas and Europe. He served as curator of the Photography Section of Pinta Miami.
