Des Pacio’s Artistic Convocatory

Des Pacio, just like its name indicates, it juxtaposes without a hierarchical order of the two vital notions of live: time and space. In the dizzy race of the art medium, this Project assumes slowness to give feeling. Because of this, more than a physical place, Des Pacio is a “reflexive”, “harmonious”, “purposeful”, “playful” and “contemplative” intention to consume art. Unlike other commercial initiatives, in Des Pacio art happens. It is note about grouping the production of artistic objects with complex speeches, but provoking art to happen as if by nature, that is: by its own nature. Thus, the projects that have been acquired until now have shared “artificial” or “illusion” logic, a performance characteristic with the purpose of being an art project about the project of art, the thought about the object, the fascination with consuming, temporality given coherence with geography.

Des Pacio’s convocatory is open to all contemporary artists from any country, duets and collectives included. It will close on November 26, 2010.
