Artium Gallery presents “Change to Balance” by Claudio Ronconi

From Thursday June 9 in Artium Gallery, located at 2248 NW 1st Place in Wynwood Art District, will be showcasing Claudio Roncoli, an artist based in Miami that works in the Bakehouse Art Complex, where he has been awarded by the NEA (National Endowment for the Arts) and been chosen as the official artist of the Latin Grammy Awards 2015.

Claudio was born in Buenos Aires in 1971. He is a professor of drawing and painting grafuated from the National School of Fine Arts “Prilidiano Pueyrredón” (1995). His new series of artworks is called “Change to Balance”, where he abandons the impulsive brush strokes and the digital work that he used to apply, to immerse himself in what he calls the life balance. These conceptual compositions come from the study of shapes and lines, generating a plain and full of sense balance. “The horizontal is something; the diagonal is everything” says the artist.

Artium‐Miami Gallery is a space for dissemination of contemporary art with a program open to diversity and an interest in developing local collectors. In its exhibitions and parallel activities, it integrates from emerging authors to great masters of the twentieth century, representing trends as kinetic art, neo‐expressionism, neo‐figuration and abstraction, having a wide range of events with institutions, benefit auctions and special sales.
