MERIDIANO PRESENTS THE 2021 AGENDA OF GALLERY EXHIBITIONS
The Argentine Chamber of Art Galleries shares 21 exhibitions in Argentine galleries.
This 2021, MERIDIANO celebrates 5 years of collective construction for the development of the visual arts in the country. In 2016 they met in order to think and work on joint strategies that revalue the role of the gallery as a culture maker and as a fundamental agent in the circuit that promotes Argentine art in the country and in the world. Today, they are 53 art galleries disseminating the work of more than 800 visual artists. The association is active to face the complex context that the world is facing, in protection of the spaces, its professionals and the artists they represent.
Chaired by Leopol Mones Cazón (Isla Flotante Gallery), MERIDIANO intends, also, to participate in the design of solid public policies for the visual arts, together with state agents at all levels (municipal, provincial and national), and with other private sector agents. In this way, it seeks to contribute to the growth and strengthening of the Argentine art system and the cultural sector in general.
